Lifestart Kits

LifeStart kits are for Foster children aging out at 18.

Ecumenical Kitchen

Every other month, volunteers prepare and serve a meal to people in need in downtown Coeur d'Alene. We are going into our 25th year of serving our Community!

Orchard Ridge

Orchard Ridge is a Independent Living Center that we partner with to provide supplies or other items a couple times a year.

Indee's Friends

We raise monetary gifts and supplies needed for the Humane Society in memory of our very own, Indee Hanninen, as the face of our giving.

RAP (Relatives as Parents)

The program exists to strengthen the safety net of resources & support for local children being raised by a relative.

HeadStart Food Packs

Each Friday, children are sent home with a nondescript bag filled with non-perishable, child friendly, nutritious food for the weekend & during long school breaks (Spring Break & Christmas Break).

How do I volunteer?


We volunteer in the church and around the community quite a bit, and are always looking for a helping hand.  You can connect with Jim DeShazer our Missional Connection Lead, or connect with the office or you can fill out the form below.

How do I volunteer with children and youth?

If you would like to work with children or youth at CUMC, please connect with the office or complete the email request below.
Background checks are required.

*NOTE: Children and Youth activities are currently not being scheduled due to COVID restrictions.

How do I volunteer with music?

We love music at CUMC and love having all different types of music that's traditional or contemporary. If you would like to know more information or interested in being apart of our choir, band, or bell choir, please connect with the office or Dave Hylton our Contemporary Worship Leader.
