The Annunciation (First Sunday of Advent)

During Advent we focus on the coming of Jesus the Christ - both historically as an infant born to Mary and Joseph and the Second Coming. The message of Jesus's cousin, John the Baptist, can help prepare us for the coming of our once and future King. We begin with an angel's prophetic announcement of the birth of John.
