ADULT EDUCATION OPPORTUNITIES
The goal is to bring us together in small groups to study and learn but also to send us out into God’s world with purpose. As United Methodists, we value ongoing study on Sundays and throughout the week and we offer two “All Church Studies” that are reflected in the preaching schedule as well.
Our first all-church study is in the Spring during Lent and the second one is in the Fall. Our on-going Adult classes, which meet at the church, include the following:
Sunday Morning Bible Study, 9:00am
Drop-ins welcome. Conference Room.
Through the years it has gathered a following that
appreciates the community it is, as much as what it learns.
Tuesday Morning Study, 6:30am
Open Membership. Meets in the conference
room. Emphasis is on books that challenge us as 21st
century Christian disciples.
Wednesday Morning Prayer – 9:30-11:00am
Open membership. Meets in the Library for
intercessory prayer and devotion.
Wednesday Brown Bag Study – 11:30-1:00pm
Drop-ins welcome. Meets in the Library and
you can bring your lunch.
Brown bag dives deeply and respectfully into subjects that
can be both controversial and inspirational.
Thursday Morning – 8:00am
Drop-ins welcome. Meets in the library.
Prayer and Bible study define this group.
