The goal is to bring us together in small groups to study and learn but also to send us out into the community with purpose. As Methodist we value ongoing study for all age groups, including adults. We offer adult study groups on Sunday and throughout the week. In the 2017-2018 schedule we will also offer an all church study in the Spring, during Lent.

Our on-going adult classes, which meet at the church, include the following:


Sunday Morning Bible Study – 9:00am

Drop-ins welcome. Conference Room.Through the years it has gathered a following that appreciates the community it is, as much as what it studies.

Open Membership. Meets in the conference room. Emphasis is on books that challenge us as 21st century Christian disciples.

Open membership. Meets in the Library for intercessory prayer and study of “A Disciple’s Path—Deepening Your Relationship with Christ and the Church”.

Open membership. Meets in the Library and you can bring your lunch. Brown bag dives deeply and respectfully into subjects that can be both controversial and inspirational.

Adult Education Opportunities—
Off Campus


First and Third Mondays – 1:30-2:30 pm

Open membership. Meets at Golden Spike Estates in Rathdrum, ID. Focuses on Bible devotional studies and participates in “all-church” studies.

TBA Somewhere in CDA

This is a “read around” and discuss gathering of Rob Bell’s Velvet Elvis: Repainting the Christian Faith. Our purpose is to explore our faith through new ideas, scripture and conversation about our lives. As we gather we form deeper connections to Jesus and one another. Currently it is women of different ages.

United Methodist Women

All women welcome and invited. Unite meeting is the first Tuesday of the moth at 1pm. Several small group “circles” meet at other times.

Men’s Breakfast Program

Open to both men and women. Meets at Elmer’s Restaurant on the fourth Saturday of the month at 7:30am. Programs center on local agencies and outreach opportunities.

Skyway Elementary Volunteers

This partnership with a local school program S.O.A.R. (Sharing Our Actions and Resources) matches individual volunteers with areas of need within the school. Times and days may vary.

This community program works with homeless families looking for permanent housing. Volunteers are needed to serve meals and stay overnight in host churches.
